In 2023, over 20 brands sponsored PPW events with financial support, product donations, or complementary locations including Eventbrite, Nike, Lane Bryant (Livi Active), and more.
These brands were positively exposed to an audience reach of over 1,000,000 people across Power Plus Wellness and the leadership team’s platforms, just over 3000 email subscribers, and dozens of members in person.

Our story by the heart.
Our mission is self-compassion, community co-regulation, and an end to anti-fatness. Weight stigma is a powerful and painful deterrent that folks living in big bodies know all too well. Everyone on our leadership team has volunteered from a genuine desire be a part of a community that they can't find anywhwere else — one that considers our plus bodies and pours love into the parts of ourselves the world tries to erase.
Our team, partners, and community strive to embody an emotionally supportive, gentle, and uplifting atmosphere in all aspects of our work and offerings.

2021
Power Plus Wellness began as a meet-up group and held 60 events with 11 specific movement classes and partnered with 5 instructors and 7 studios with the help of 2 loyal ambassababes.
2022
Power Plus Wellnes held 48 events with 13 specific movement classes and partnered with 4 instructors and 7 studios with the help of 3 loyal ambassababes.
2023
Power Plus Wellness held 128 events with 29 specific movement classes, panel discussions, and community meet-ups. We partnered with 14 instructors or subject matter experts and 12 studios and location partners with the help of ten ambassababes and support team.
Our leadership team was also honored with two awards for innovation and culture creation, a $20,000 grant, and mentorship from subject matter experts at one of the top event companies in the market. We held three of our signature, “Free Your Mind” events with attendance rate and budget both tripling.
2024
In ONLY January, Power Plus Wellness held over 20 events (monthly average increase of 116% from 2023) with 14 specific movement classes and partnered with 7 instructors and 7 studios and location partners with the help of ten ambassababes, support team, and advisors.
98% of classes were SOLD OUT and we moved with over 150 members, over 25% of them new clients.

Our wellness programs cater to individuals at various stages of their journey, providing healing support for those just embarking on their path as well as those with a longstanding history of navigating the complexities of diet culture and the process of unlearning ingrained habits. We are committed to fostering a community that empowers individuals to embrace holistic well-being, regardless of their starting point.
