Over the last 4 years dozens of brands sponsored PPW events with financial support, product donations, or complementary locations including Eventbrite, Nike, Lane Bryant (Livi Active), and more.
These brands were positively exposed to an audience reach of over 1,000,000 people across Power Plus Wellness and the leadership team’s platforms, just over 5000 email subscribers, and dozens of members in person.

Our story by the heart.
Our mission is rooted in self-compassion, collective care, and dismantling anti-fatness. Weight stigma is one of the most common barriers to wellness, and those of us in bigger bodies know how isolating it can feel. Power Plus Wellness exists to change that.
Our leadership team, partners, and community have built what we could not find anywhere else — a space that celebrates plus bodies, fosters belonging, and nurtures the parts of ourselves the world has tried to erase. Every class, every collaboration, and every event is grounded in emotional support, joy, and radical inclusion.

2021
Power Plus Wellness began as a meet-up group and held 60 events with 11 specific movement classes and partnered with 5 instructors and 7 studios with the help of 2 loyal ambassababes.
2022
Power Plus Wellnes held 48 events with 13 specific movement classes and partnered with 4 instructors and 7 studios with the help of 3 loyal ambassababes.
2023
Power Plus Wellness held 128 events with 29 specific movement classes, panel discussions, and community meet-ups. We partnered with 14 instructors or subject matter experts and 12 studios and location partners with the help of ten ambassababes and support team.
Our leadership team was also honored with two awards for innovation and culture creation, a $20,000 grant, and mentorship from subject matter experts at one of the top event companies in the market. We held three of our signature, “Free Your Mind” events with attendance rate and budget both tripling.
2024
Power Plus Wellness held 369 events, workshops, and community gatherings, nearly tripling our classes the year prior. We partnered with 19 studios and location partners, supported by 14 team members and volunteers.
This year, we expanded into Brooklyn, introduced boxing and strength circuits and reached 1,178 participants across our events. Our work was also featured in Healthline and on Good Morning America, amplifying our mission and reaching an even wider community.

Power Plus Wellness members are a diverse community, with ages ranging from 25 to 55, from all walks or life, backgrounds and identities. Our wellness programs cater to individuals at various stages of their journey, providing healing support for those just embarking on their path as well as those with a longstanding history of navigating the complexities of diet culture and the process of unlearning ingrained habits. We are committed to fostering a community that empowers individuals to embrace holistic well-being, regardless of their starting point.

Since 2021, PPW has curated over 800 classes and events. Our offerings include aerial yoga, aqua Zumba, reformer Pilates, belly dancing, strength training, yoga, dance classes, and more. The diversity of our offerings illustrates our commitment to providing private plus focused classes and fostering a supportive community for plus size folks at any stage of their wellness journey.

Fiscal
Financially sponsor, a member's spot, a class or signature event series, and bring your brand directly to our audience, website, and social media platforms. This allows us to create more experiences and invite community members with limited funding to attend our one-of-a-kind experiences.

Our team is looking for location partners in NYC and the Tri State area, including studios, event spaces, and corporate headquarters that can host us at a discounted or complementary rate. These partnerships help us spread our mission affordably while bringing our signature offerings to new audiences.
Product & Services
